Jaime Gutierrez, [a Bachelor´s degree in
Chemistry, and a Superior]. A Viticulture and
Oenology degree graduate, comes from a family
whose generations have been involved with the
wine scene and with wine elaboration processes
since the middle of the 17TH Century. Jaime, has
also dedicated his extensive professional career
to the wine industry through various channels
such as in a private enterprise, or through The
Universida de la Rioja, imparting oenology and
Wine Composition and Evolution Classes in one
of the pioneer universities which created a viticulture
and Oenology Bachelor´s Degree.
Jaime Gutierrez has elaborated wines, brandy,
and other liqueurs belonging to various Designation
of Origin, in addition to being he pioneer who
transformed the Palacio an Cosme Palacio Tintos
y Blancos wineelaboration process in 1986. Currently,
he is involved with his own businesses, with the
consultanship to several wine cellar businesses
holding conferences, and elaborating his own wine,
Mayor de Migueloa.
